EuroDreams 2025 Changes

A series of exciting changes have been made to EuroDreams! It is the first time that the multi-national lottery has been updated since it began in November 2023. Here’s a summary of the key changes:

  • Special Superdraws have been introduced
  • The prize for matching five numbers has been increased

The new rules took effect from the start of October 2025 and were introduced across all eight participating countries in a bid to boost ticket sales.

New Super Draws

Two to three special promotional draws are planned per year, when you can play for an even more appealing jackpot than usual.

The regular top prize in EuroDreams is €20,000 a month for 30 years, which adds up to a total of €7.2 million. In the new Super Draws, the top prize is worth €30,000 a month for 30 years – match all the numbers and the total payout would be €10.8 million! The jackpot even stays at its enhanced value until someone wins.

The first Super Draw was held on Thursday 2nd October to signal the start of a new era for EuroDreams. Go to the Superdraws page for full details.

Changes to Prize Fund

The prize money for the other categories has also been redistributed since October 2025. A higher percentage of the prize fund is now allocated to the third prize level – for matching five of the six main numbers. The estimated payout for the third prize had previously been around €100, but it has now increased by around five times. You could win around €500.

The prize fund percentages for categories four and five were also recalculated. The following table shows how the allocation changed.

Numbers Matched Prize Fund Allocation Before October 2025 Prize Fund Allocation From October 2025
5 2.13% 10.32%
4 34.24% 28.93%
3 63.63% 60.75%

EuroDreams History

EuroDreams launched in November 2023 in the same countries where EuroMillions is played, except for the UK. It was designed to offer players a different type of prize to the huge jackpots that are available in EuroMillions. Instead, you can win regular payments over a long period of time. The game has already created lots of big winners across Europe, and the recent changes are sure to generate even more.

The French National Gaming Authority (ANJ) approved a proposal from lottery operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ) earlier in 2025 to have promotional draws. This only applied in France, with 10 players drawn at random to win €2,000 per month for five years. These draws were scheduled to happen four times per year.
