EuroDreams 2025 Changes
Changes are coming to EuroDreams in 2025! The French National Gaming Authority (ANJ) has approved a number of proposals from lottery operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ), opening the door for some exciting new features. Here’s a summary of the key changes:
- Special Superdraws will be introduced
- The prize for matching five numbers will be increased
The details of the new rules have yet to be officially announced, but they will be introduced across all eight participating countries in a bid to boost ticket sales.
Four Super Draws in 2025
Four ‘Superdraws’ are set to take place in 2025, when you can expect to play for an even more appealing jackpot than usual. The regular top prize in EuroDreams is €20,000 a month for 30 years, which adds up to a total of €7.2 million.
The jackpot could be even more in a Superdraw. While it has yet to be confirmed how these big events will work, the ANJ has given the green light for a ‘revaluation’ of the top prize. Imagine winning even more than €20,000 every month, or getting the cash for even more than 30 years. Another possibility is that there will be guaranteed winners even if nobody matches all the numbers.
The four special draws have been provisionally set for the following dates:
- Superdraw 1 - Thursday 27th March
- Superdraw 2 - Thursday 26th June
- Superdraw 3 - Thursday 16th October
- Superdraw 4 - Thursday 27th November
Changes to Prize Fund
There will be no changes to the jackpot apart from in the four Superdraws, but the prize money for the other categories is set to be redistributed. A higher percentage of the prize fund will now be allocated to the third prize level – for matching five of the six main numbers. The estimated payout for the third prize is currently around €100, but it is set to increase significantly. The prize fund percentages for categories four and five will also be recalculated.
EuroDreams History
EuroDreams launched in November 2023 in the same countries where EuroMillions is played, except for the UK. It was designed to offer players a different type of prize to the huge jackpots that are available in EuroMillions. Instead, you can win regular payments over a long period of time. The game has already created lots of big winners across Europe, and the upcoming changes are sure to generate even more.
